Home Daily | Monday–Friday | Weekly Pay
Steele’s Calgary Terminal is expanding and seeking experienced Independent Contract Owner Operators to support our increasing volume of local P&D work. We are looking for professional operators with:
- 5‑ton straight trucks (with tailgates, heaters, and electric pallet jacks)
- Tandem‑axle day‑cab tractors

Equipment Requirements
5‑Ton Straight Truck
- 2017 or newer
- 24' or 26' white box and cab (required)
- 3000 lb hydraulic tailgate
- Heated box
- Electric‑powered pallet jack required
- Clean, rust‑free, well‑maintained equipment
Tandem‑Axle Day Cab
- Clean, professional appearance
- Reliable, mechanically sound unit
Independent Contractor Qualifications
To meet our insurance and safety standards, all contractors must:
- Be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
- Have minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience in Canada
- Provide a 3–5 year commercial driver’s abstract
- Provide professional references verifying experience
- Demonstrate English fluency (verbal & written)
- Provide their own WCB coverage
- Operate as an independent business and supply required equipment
