Home Daily | Monday–Friday | Weekly Pay
Steele’s is hiring Independent Contract Owner Operators for our Edmonton terminal. We are looking for experienced drivers with 5‑ton straight trucks or tandem‑axle day‑cab tractors to support high‑volume local delivery work.

Equipment Requirements
5‑Ton Straight Truck
- 2017 or newer
- 24' or 26' white box & cab
- 3000 lb hydraulic tailgate
- Heated box
- Electric‑powered pallet jack required
- Clean, rust‑free, well‑maintained equipment
Tandem‑Axle Day Cab
- Clean, professional‑looking tractor
- Reliable, well‑maintained condition
Independent Contractor Qualifications
To be eligible for our insurance program, contractors must meet:
- Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience in Canada
- 3–5 year commercial driver’s abstract
- Professional references to verify experience
- Fluent in English (verbal & written)
- Must provide own WCB coverage
- Must operate as an Independent Contractor with required equipment
